Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care to patients in a home setting, demonstrating expertise in various medical procedures and patient care. Duties: - Perform physical examinations and health assessments - Administer medications and injections following established protocols - Provide catheter care and wound dressing changes - Conduct patient education on health conditions and treatment plans - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care - Maintain accurate patient records using HospiceMD or similar electronic health record systems Qualifications: - Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California. - Proficiency in conducting physical assessments and understanding of human physiology - Experience in administering injections and performing catheter care - Ability to triage and handle emergency situations effectively - Physical ability to lift and assist patients as needed - Knowledge of geriatric patient care practices.
