Under the direction of the RHC Practice Manager, the Phone Team Representative is responsible for providing exemplary customer service to the My Clinics clients, handling all incoming telephone calls and collecting information from patients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provides exemplary customer service to all patients, visitors and vendors
- Answers incoming calls for all My Clinics locations
- Provides basic information to clients including location and hours of our clinics
- Creates message in EMR to provide information to providers and staff
- Utilize the 5Ws guideline to collect necessary information and create required messages to provide information to providers and staff
- Schedules appointments in accordance with practice protocol
- Takes and documents medical insurance information
- Creates and maintains patient records and other information as needed
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary environment
- Interacts with patients, families, providers, and other staff in a professional, positive, empathetic, and respectful manner
- Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
- Ability to multitask
- Consistently demonstrates a positive attitude

- Actively listens to caller throughout conversation
- Demonstrates clear ownership of workplace and patient safety

Job Qualification Requirements :
Education : High School Graduate
Licensure / Certification : none
Experience : Ability to confidently use computer and phone required. Must have strong communication skills, understand the need for good customer service, and be empathetic.
Comfortable speaking on the phone with many clients throughout the day. Able to move through calls quickly while providing information to patients, staff and providers with courtesy and professionalism.
Physical Requirements : Frequent sitting and occasional periods of standing / walking. Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
