Client Services Specialist

Job Description :

Our client is looking to bring a new client services specialist onboard to support their benefits team in Reno, Nevada! The Client Service Specialist will be responsible for assisting Benefits Consultants with their groups and offering innovative insurance solutions.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in the health care insurance industry, be highly organized, computer savvy, and possess good interpersonal skills.

This position is full-time, direct hire, and will be working onsite 5 days / week out of the Reno office.

Responsibilities :

Collaborate with internal teams and offer support to the Benefits Consultants

Answer incoming phone calls

Prepare census for new groups and renewals

Be the main contact with our other brokers for our health plan renewals

Create and print open enrollment materials (benefits guidebooks, election forms, etc)

Responsible for making changes and updating files and templates

Maintain accurate benefits records, including enrollment forms, plan documents

Process and maintain benefits enrollment / terminations and changes, ensuring that all forms are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner

Maintain and update our website and post on our social media site

Create marketing flyers

Support the team with ongoing projects

Education Requirements :

High school diploma, required

Desired Background / Skills :

Qualifications :

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong attention to detail

Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Must have self-motivated and disciplined

Must have a high interest in the health care insurance industry, with a focus on account administration

Must be proficient with Microsoft O??ice apps (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other database applications

Prior experience in broker agency or benefits administration firm, preferred
