Temp A / R Supervisor

Job Description :

Our client, an Industry leader in key manufacturing is seeking an A / R Supervisor! This role will fully be onsite M-F 8am-5pm (3-6 months).

Responsibilities :

Maintain accurate cash posting procedures to ensure customer accounts are updated correctly.

Develop and implement collection strategies for delinquent accounts.

Approve new accounts and assign credit limits.

Review orders on credit hold and release for shipment based on account status.

Prepare daily reconciliation of subsidiary accounts to general ledger.

Issue monthly reports and analysis of accounts over 90 days and specific reserve.

Recommend doubtful accounts for charge off for approval by VP Finance & Administration.

Train, schedule, assign, and review the performance of Credit Dept staff.

Monitor cash posting to accounts and account maintenance.

Review customer deduction report for distribution to Customer Service and Sales Depts.

Monitor and track company DSO.

Education Requirements :

Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred.

Desired Background / Skills :

Qualifications :

Minimum of two years credit management experience in manufacturing or wholesale.
