Greenhouse Partners Events Manager - Venus de Miles

*This is an onsite position working out of our office in Boulder, CO

Who We Are:

Greenhouse Partners is a professional services firm focused on the growth of brands and people. In addition to serving high-profile clients, we run our own branded event, Venus de Miles, an annual women's bike ride and finish festival.

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of Venus de Miles, with a strong focus on securing event sponsors, driving rider participation, and creating an amazing experience for those riders. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and shape a marquee event while working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

What We Are Looking For:

Events Manager with 6 years of event management experience and a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.

Key responsibilities include:

· Developing and implementing a 12-15 month event plan based on established objectives and budgets

· Collaborating with the team to develop and implement rider acquisition and engagement strategies that have us simultaneously aligning rider loyalty and growth

· Developing and executing a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to secure financial and in-kind event support

· Identifying and pursuing new sponsor opportunities while stewarding existing sponsor relationships

· Managing all aspects of event logistics including route planning, permitting, staffing, marketing, budgeting, festival attendee experience, and volunteer management

· Communicating with vendors, suppliers, staff, volunteers and other stakeholders to ensure flawless event execution

· Overseeing food and beverage, decor, entertainment and all other event elements

· Ensuring compliance with insurance, health and safety standards

· Tracking, analyzing and communicating event results to inform future planning

· Documenting all relevant information using Monday.com, Google Suite, and other tools

· Bringing an unrelentingly positive attitude, creativity and problem-solving skills to the role

The ideal candidate will have:

· Proven track record of securing event sponsorships and driving attendance

· Proven experience successfully managing large-scale events

· Exceptional planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail

· Excellent communication, relationship-building and customer service skills

· Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Basic understanding of event management software, budgeting and accounting

· Well-versed in PowerPoint, Excel, Google Suite

· Passion for health, fitness, the outdoors and/or cycling a plus
