Our professional staff of talent acquisition specialists based in the Boston and NY area provide comprehensive staffing needs including temporary, temporary to hire, and professional placement in the areas of manufacturing, engineering, IT, finance, logistics and warehouse, supervisory, operations and more.Our client located on the South Shore of Massachusetts is seeking a second shift Quality Control Supervisor to join their growing manufacturing organization. This is a direct hire with a tremendous benefits package.

 Position Summary

As an expert of the process, you will monitor production on multiple lines while leading the QC Team. You are responsible to assure that company process and product quality is consistently achieving the highest levels possible to assure customer satisfaction. You will accomplish these standards in a dynamic, fast-paced USDA, FDA food manufacturing facility.To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Expected skills for this position

 Strong mathematic and analytical abilities, as well as familiarity with statistics and control charts.

 Candidate must possess a thorough knowledge of computers and their programs Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Acceptance for one's actions; both positive and negativeEducation and/or Experience* Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline of Food Science, Statistics or a Culinary field and 2 years manufacturing experience preferably in a food environment, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Quality certification/training/experience preferred.Mathematical Skills* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
