Position Title: Associate Dentist

Location: Greer, SC

Job Type: Full-time 32 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough dental examinations and assess patients' oral health.
  • Diagnose and treat dental issues such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay.
  • Perform dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and bridges.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
  • Develop treatment plans based on patients' dental conditions and needs.
  • Clinical Duties:

Administer anesthesia and perform surgical procedures as needed.

Utilize dental technology and equipment effectively and safely.

Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.

Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure high-quality patient care.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuing education and training.
  • Participate in practice management and marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant dental office environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, team members, and external dental specialists.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth operations and efficient patient care.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace atmosphere.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to practice improvements and patient care strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Valid state dental license.
  • Proven experience as a Dentist in a clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in dental procedures and use of dental equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a friendly demeanor.
