Warehouse Operations Specialist

Salary Range $41,787.20 - $64,792.00

Anticipated Hiring Range $41,787.20 - $53,289.60

DESCRIPTION

Ideal candidate serving in this position performs and leads administrative warehouse functions including, but not limited to the following essential functions:

• Managing the preparation, execution, and resolution of daily cycle audits.
• Managing the procurement of safety glasses, first aid supplies, and office supplies.
• Managing the safety shoe program.
• Managing sales and inventory of GUC logo items.
• Posting issues and returns of material into financial/accounting system.
• Assisting with the processing of work orders to bill customers, contractors, etc. for utility damages.
• Assisting with annual physical audit; assisting with posting receipt of material in financial accounting system.
• Assisting with approving invoices for material received for payment.
• Filing invoices.
• Occasionally inspecting incoming freight, rejecting damaged freight and placing freight in proper storage locations.
• Creating and maintaining database of all material issue forms.
• Assisting with the fulfillment of material request for the operating departments.
• Assisting with processing surplus items for auction.
• Providing support to both internal and external warehouse customers.
• Conducting departmental safety meetings on a rotating basis.
• Assisting in developing warehouse performance metrics and striving for the continuous improvement of warehouse operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum job requirements include:

• High School Diploma or GED, plus six months/one year of advanced study or training
• Over five years of experience
• Highly proficient in the use of Word and Excel
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Driver's License

Anticipated work schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Applications accepted until filled.
