**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in delivering quality care to patients in various medical settings. **Duties:** - Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures. - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. - Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers. - Assist in patient education and follow-up care instructions. - Coordinate patient appointments and referrals. - Sterilize medical instruments and equipment. - Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, billing, and insurance verification. **Qualifications:** - Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification. - Previous experience in hospital medicine, PICU, geriatrics, coding, Level II Trauma Center, medical-surgical, internal medicine, clinic, or OR settings is preferred. - Proficiency in medical terminology and basic clinical procedures. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems.
