Greenwood Brewing is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near Phoenix, AZ

Outside Sales Representative

Are you a person who thrives on building relationships, loves engaging with others and enjoys beer? At Greenwood Brewing, we’re looking for an outgoing and energetic individual with a passion for the brewing industry to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative (OSR)! This position is based in Phoenix, Arizona and will cover the state of Arizona. The OSR will focus on building our relationships with our distributor, restaurants, bars, taprooms, independent bottleshops, and grocery/retail stores in order to help fulfill growth goals both for them and for us. This position is critical for the growth of Greenwood Brewing, and is integral for our culture creation, brand recognition, and brand reputation.

This position will report to the President of Greenwood Brewing. The position will be salaried with commission and will require flexible hours day or night, and the ability to work weekends. Sales experience is required.

You are an energetic, self-driven individual with a positive attitude. You are hardworking and capable of managing your own time effectively, you can work independently and adapt to a rapidly growing business like Greenwood Brewing. You are fluent in beer, the restaurant industry of Arizona, and enjoy learning more about restaurants, taprooms/bars, and new hospitality locations. Sales is your strength, and you genuinely enjoy connecting with people. You’re enthusiastic about working in the beer industry and ready to work for a creative, purpose-driven brand.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing outside sales and customer experiences for Greenwood Brewing
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key customers
  • Responding quickly to sales inquiries and customer needs
  • Exceeding customer service expectations
  • Brainstorming creative strategies for growth
  • Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
  • Maintaining knowledge of restaurants, bars, taprooms, and hospitality locations in Arizona
  • Organizing and executing events on and off-premise
  • Upholding company culture and safety
  • Managing sales budgets and participating in event planning
  • Merchandising and maintaining inventory levels at customer accounts
  • Staying informed on industry trends and marketing strategies
  • Executing creative marketing initiatives

Basic Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and must maintain a clean driving record
  • Must be able to lift 55lbs and move, carry, push/pull 165lbs on a regular basis
  • Can operate in the physical demands of brewery labor: standing, squatting, lifting, walking, carrying, seeing and listening
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time driving
  • Knows how to operate email, laptop, MS Office & Google products

Additional details:

  • This position does not manage people, but is considered a leadership position at Greenwood Brewing.
  • This position will be salaried and based on full-time employment.
  • This position is performance based on the successful achievement of quarterly and annual sales goals.
