GreenWorks Tools is Hiring an Operation manager Near Reno, NV

Position Summary

The Warehouse Distribution Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of operations in Reno NV.

The Manager will maintain high levels of accuracy in the day-to-day operations, lead and develop the warehouse team and provide impeccable customer service to our customers.

The goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Drive, develop, and closely manage the implementation of the distribution business plan for the facility to achieve facility goals (e.

g., production, quality, safety, inventory) and develop strategic improvements for all facets of operations.

  • Ability to manage budgets, read and interpret P&L statements; and prepare related management reports.
  • Managing the efficient utilization of space and mechanical handling equipment, ensuring quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met.
  • Coordination of all freight pre-paid and collect.
  • Adhere and ensure associates adhere to safety practices and compliance, also ensuring that associates receive the proper safety training and equipment applicable to their position.
  • Keeping stock control systems up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy.
  • Understand and manage key performance metrics as set by leadership team.
  • Manage operations team to meet departmental goals via appropriate allocation of workload and effective resource management.
  • Organizing the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress.
  • Drive outstanding performance or formulate improvement plans / reviews; make termination decisions, as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a team.
  • Available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.
  • May perform other duties as required.

Experience Required :

The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of prior Warehouse Distribution Manager work experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates;

managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of facility associates

  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to express well-reasoned, independent thought.
  • High level of organizational and time management skills
  • Proven track record in supervision of warehouse employees including hiring, training, and termination.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong work ethic, analytical, understands how to manage people effectively and leads by example
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a team.
  • Preferable SAP and / or EWM knowledge.

Required Education :

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Administration, Logistics)
