We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our dynamic transportation company. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of accounting and administrative duties to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations. Responsibilities include supporting accounts receivable and payable functions, creating and processing invoices, assisting with driver payroll, verifying invoice details, managing collections, and sending balance dues. Additional tasks include data entry, payroll processing, and general administrative support as needed.Position Responsibilities

• Create and Process Invoices: Ensure invoices are accurately created and processed in a timely manner.
• Data Entry: Perform data entry for various accounting tasks.
• Accounts Support: Assist with accounts receivable and payable functions.
• Collections: Send balance dues to customers and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of all accounting transactions.
• Departmental Support: Provide support to other departments as needed.
• Policy Compliance: Comply with all company policies and procedures.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in accounting preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the over-the-road trucking industry and regulations preferred.
