As an Investment Sales Managing Director for Greysteel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, you'll serve as the lead advisor and driving force behind our brokerage services' growth and success. Our product focuses include [Multi-Family, Office, Industrial, Retail, Self-Storage, Hospitality]. This role is a dynamic blend of being a trusted advisor, executing deals, developing business, and stewarding advisor team culture. You'll be the face of Greysteel in Philadelphia, PA, guiding our Investment Sales teams towards new heights of excellence while fostering a thriving workplace culture. This position is a 100% commission sales position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Trusted Advisor. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging your expertise to deliver tailored solutions; work with commercial real estate owners and purchasers to understand their financial objectives and help them realize the full potential of their business plans.
  • Deal Execution. Underwrite deals, analyze comparable sales, create investment opinions of value, collaborate with the Greysteel platform to develop and execute marketing strategies, and generally execute commercial real estate investment sales transactions.
  • Business Development & Market Engagement. Develop and maintain industry relationships with private, middle market, and institutional commercial real estate owners and investors to promote business development and source new opportunities; drive organic growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities; actively engage with industry stakeholders, local community groups, and professional networks to enhance Greysteel's brand visibility and market reputation.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention. Spearhead the strategic direction of the market, setting clear objectives and rallying the team towards shared goals; help develop and retain top-tier advisor talent, nurturing a diverse team equipped for long-term success; provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members, empowering them to reach their full potential.
Successful Team Leaders Have:
  • Educational Background. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience. A minimum of 5 years in commercial real estate investment sales roles, with a track record of success in driving business growth and building high-performing teams.
  • Skills. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. You possess unwavering integrity, credibility, and a commitment to Greysteel's mission and values.
  • Business Acumen. A deep understanding of market dynamics, coupled with the ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • License. Active real estate brokerage license required.
