We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in College Park, MD. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the restaurant industry and will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
• Ensure that all employees are trained and performing their duties to the best of their abilities
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to increase sales and profitability
• Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and presentation
• Assist in the management of inventory and ordering of supplies
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new employees

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar position
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or restaurant management is a plus
