Grimaldi Yeung Law Group is Hiring an Assistant Client Coordinator Near BROOKLYN, NY

Who You Are:

We are seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Client Coordinator to join our fast paced elder law and estate planning law firm. As an Assistant Client Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our office and providing essential support to our legal team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional and collaborative environment, assisting with various administrative tasks related to elder law and estate planning.

What You'll Do:

  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Handle incoming high volume calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Schedule client appointments and maintain attorneys’ calendar.
  • Assist with client intake processes, collecting necessary information and documentation.
  • Help with client onboarding and ensuring all required forms are completed.
  • Assist with maintaining digital and physical filing systems for legal documents.
  • Provide support to Client Coordinator including preparing correspondences.
  • Send reminders and follow-up on important dates and appointments.
  • Provide general administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including photocopying, scanning, faxing and mailing documents at post office.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, including client confidentiality.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by attorneys or management

What You Bring:

  • 1 year of experience in Trust and Estate Administration, Elder Law and Estate Planning experience a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a law firm or legal environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Type 50 wpm.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of estate law and legal terminology (preferred but not required).
  • Notary (preferred but not required).

Salary range: $18.- $25. per hour
