The ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they have both knowledge and technical depth about the company and the industry. We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of how to manage a team across a variety of departments, be able to leverage data and analytics to drive improvements and lead the facility as a whole. This is essential as they will be a central person in the decision-making process, working with multiple individuals across different teams when necessary. As a result, they will also be overseeing specific personnel.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations & a team of about 40 people across multiple departments
- Oversee general operations (manufacturing, Lean/Six Sigma)
- Be able to effectively maximize productivity, increase profitability, decrease operating/manufacturing costs
- Oversee multiple personnel, schedules, inventory and vendor relations
- Ensure the cultivation department is adhering to state regulatory compliance standards & documentation
- Other tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in the cannabis industry working in cultivation
- 1 years of STRONG supervisory experience
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Organized
- Strong leadership skills, communication skills and high energy
