Groe Advisors is Hiring a Sales Administration Specialist Near Haverhill, MA

The company is New England's Premier Distributor of Electrical Heating Equipment, Industrial Process Controls and Custom-Engineered Control Systems. The company offers a wide variety of heating, controlling and sensing solutions for customers in plastics, high-tech, food and beverage, automotive, textiles, wastewater treatment, and other industries. In 2015, the company expanded its offerings to include Sales & Repair of top of line power tools, from Milwaukee, Bosch, DeWalt, and many more!

Position Overview:
We are seeking an Administrative Support candidate for our Sales & Purchasing Department. The ideal candidate will have distribution experience in the Electrical and Heating Equipment Industry. This position requires handling of large volumes of email as well as phone interactions with customers and vendors.

Job/Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales admin / customer service experience in the electrical / heating industry.
  • Ability to read detailed documents such as specifications and equipment schedules.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and working knowledge of a CRM database.
  • Proficient working with various customer and vendor sites and portals.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels both internally and externally
  • Top-rate organizational / Time management skills - ability to multi-task and manage tasks effectively in fast paced environment.
  • Independent worker, able to take projects and tacks to next level with limited oversight.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills are preferred.
  • Understanding of how to research products to purchase and ability to understand warehouse operation.
  • Knowledge on freight and various carriers

Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To):

  • Daily order entry and processing of high-volume sales orders
  • Obtaining quotes from vendors, checking price and delivery, including special pricing
  • Quoting customers
  • Handling customer and vendor return process and follow up.
  • Expediting Orders and customer/other department follow up.
  • Purchasing Parts and generating purchase orders
  • Updating the CRM Database in timely manner
  • Performing research as needed
  • Customer follow-up
  • Participation in onsite channel partner seminars
  • Effective communication with other team members, upper management, and other departments

  • 40hrs/week (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm)
