Looking to fill 2 Spray Booth Operator Openings (1 on 1st Shift and 1 on 2nd Shift)

• 1st Shift hours; Monday - Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm
• 2nd Shift hours; Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm
• Overtime as necessary

Job Duties:

• Prepares, primes, sands, seals, patches, cleans and paints truck beds, surfaces, utilizing all types of painting materials such as primers, polyurethanes, lacquer thinner finishes.
• Tapes, sands, repairs and applies texturing layers on a variety of surfaces.
• Has clear understanding of how to operate, clean and maintain all painting equipment. Including brush, sprayers, robotic spray guns and pumps, etc.
• Safely stores and labels all materials. Keeps records and submits reports of work.
• Erects scaffolding, rigging and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes.
• Can read, understand and communicate clearly work instructions.
• Ability to understand acceptable spray patterns, clogged mix chambers and tips.
• Understands tolerances of spray equipment and bed liner build tolerances.
• Capable of spraying bed liner using manual application equipment in the event of robotic failures, or repairs.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Familiar with TS and ISO requirements.
• Knowledge of Robots and Robot programming a definite asset.
• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Blueprint reading knowledge. Demonstrate computer skills.
• Must possess and maintain an appropriate and valid Driver’s License.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.56 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
