Ground Logistics, Inc. is now hiring a FedEx Business Contact (BC) in the Hagerstown area. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of package pickup and delivery services within the FedEx Ground terminal in Hagerstown.

The Manager will have a strong daily presence at the FedEx Ground terminal, as well as build and maintain strong, positive working relationships with all FedEx Employees.

Salary from $65k

**This is not a Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm position. It will require some long hours, days and weekend work, but it will also be flexible with your schedule when circumstances allow.

Ground Logistics is an Independent Service Provider with FedEx Ground Pickup & Delivery operating out of several terminals on the East Coast.

Terminal Location: 11825 New Gate Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740

Starting Pay from: $62,400 per year

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will lead our team of Delivery Drivers: Motivating, scheduling, and training of new and experienced Delivery Drivers; Creating a positive work environment with all Drivers.

You will champion safety and training: Conducting regular safety training and ride-alongs to ensure accident free and compliant driver behavior.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of package pickup and delivery services: Route scheduling; Dispatching and ensuring compliant delivery operations; Planning for contingencies and executing them.

You will show a strong presence at the delivery terminal: Maintaining a close relationship with FedEx; Respond to all messages, complaints, etc. in a timely manner; Participating in weekly meetings.

You will develop the organization to meet main goals: Impeccable Safety; Compliant Delivery; Efficient Execution.

You will oversee the proper maintenance of delivery vehicles: Ensuring DOT compliance; Coordinating maintenance and repair shops and technicians.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE A MINIMUM one year of continuous experience as a driver or manager for a FedEx P&D contractor.

Strong ability to lead and coach employees.
