What You'll do:
- Lead development efforts consisting of multiple developers or multi-thread development projects.
- Collaborate with end users, business analysts, and systems analysts to determine features, requirements, and solution design.
- Design, document, and enforce architectural and design standards.
- Gather and drive stakeholder requirements and product vision through the planning, analysis, development, and testing phases.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the data, sources, and relationships of data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues as needed.
- Develop, upgrade, test, implement, and document software components of client applications.
- Work independently within teams throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Communicate with end users, business analysts, and systems analysts to determine features, requirements, and solution design.
- Develop enhancements to a suite of applications using leading software principles.
- Document technical specifications and designs.
- Adhere to established design, coding, naming, and standards.
- Participate in code reviews and apply corrections as required.
- Adhere to change control processes.
- Write/revise documentation, including operations and user guidelines.
- Problem-solving skills and a proven record of working well in a team environment.
- Advanced proficiency in analysis and communication skills (verbal and written) across all organizational levels.
- Excellent analysis and communication skills (written and oral).
- Work with other team members and ask for assistance as required.
- Effectively communicate progress on assignments and potential blockers.
- BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in software application development.
- Advanced knowledge of software tools, platforms, and processes required to support the associated technology stack: TypeScript/JavaScript, React, IaC (CloudFormation/Terraform/AWS SAM), CDK, Serverless Framework, AWS (S3, ECS, Fargate, ECR, RDS, SSM, SES, Lambda, MSK, Step Functions, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route 53), Kafka (Event-Driven Architectures), OpenSearch/ElasticSearch.
- CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Good understanding of unit testing, including how and when to write tests.
- Automated testing experience (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.) is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of the various types of databases, how they differ, the benefits each offers, and experience working with any ORMs.
- Public Trust Clearance.
- AWS Certification (Associate/Professional/Specialty).

$86,694.00 - $168,940.00
