We're hiring Service Technicians in Theodore, AL. The Service Technician is an integral part of the customer experience, post-install. Service Technicians travel to our customer's home in a company-provided vehicle to inspect and service preexisting equipment installed by Groundworks. The Service Technician consults with existing customers and recommends additional foundation repair, crawlspace encapsulation, basement waterproofing, and concrete lifting products as necessary. Appointments are scheduled based on your availability. Travel to a customer’s home on a pre-set appointment using a company vehicle. Build rapport with homeowners and professionally represent the Groundworks. Perform yearly maintenance visits, examining work previously completed. Perform reactive service appointments, diagnose, and fix any issues. Install the additional products purchased by the customer as necessary. Adhere to safety/health regulations and procedures when carrying out construction operations. Examines work done by the company and determines potential warranty or non-warranty work. Recommends additional products and services to enhance or improve original installation or remedy a potential issue. Communicate the status of each job (completions and complications) and submit all necessary documentation to the Service Manager. What is required to join our team as a Service Technician: Construction/Home Improvement experience preferred. One or more years of proven commission-driven sales experience. Skill in operating construction equipment and/or power tools preferred. Experienced in troubleshooting and problem-solving. Comfortable working in confined spaces (Service Technicians regularly inspect Crawlspaces). High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience. At least one year of sales experience is preferred. A valid, non-restrictive Driver's License is required. Who is Groundworks?
