This position is Hybrid, but will have to be able to come onsite as needed.
Under the general supervision, guidance and direction of the Insurance Operations Manager, the Enrollment Team Leader is responsible for the accurate and timely processing and maintenanceof all membership and employer data for GHC-SCW members and group accounts, including Medicare and Medicaid. This position serves in a leadership role within the department. The incumbent provides daily operational guidance and direction to the Enrollment staff and assists staff on complex questions and problems. Additionally, the incumbent participates in premium billing and collection activities. The incumbent is also responsible for responding to the large volume of inquiries from employer groups, members and from providers regarding eligibility status. The Team Leader is responsible for assisting with supervision of the day-to-day operations of the enrollment team including (i) evaluating and making recommendations on appropriate staffing levels based on work flow, projects, and objectives, (ii) participating in interviews, selection, orientation and training of new employees, (iii) providing input on staff performance, including conducting performance evaluations and making training recommendations, (iv) assisting in scheduling staff to ensure appropriate staffing levels based on workflow and projects.(v) functioning as resource for staff on department policies and procedures. (vi) participating in staff meetings to communicate changes and address issues that need to be discussed, (vii) addressing customer concerns/complaints as they arise, and (viii) attending appropriate organizational meetings.
