Job Title: PostgreSQL Database Administrator

Role Location: Charlotte, NC, Jacksonville, FL, Richmond, VA, or Atlanta, GA

Duration of Role: 12 months

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week at the client site

Key Responsibilities:

• As a Mid-Level Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the PostgreSQL database.
• Your day-to-day activities will involve database administration, optimization, tuning, and performance management.
• You should have advanced proficiency in PostgreSQL and PostgreSQL Administration, as well as advanced proficiency in Database Management, Database Optimization Tuning, Database Performance Management, and Database Activity Monitoring.
• Manage and maintain the PostgreSQL database to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform database administration tasks such as backup and recovery, security management, and user management.
• Optimize and tune the database to improve performance and efficiency.
• Monitor database activity to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Provide technical support to project teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of the database with other IT components.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of overall IT experience
• Minimum 3 years experience with Postgres SQL
• Minimum 3 years experience wit Database Management
• Minimum 3 years experience with SQL
• Bachelor's degree
