Job Title - Sr Electrical Engineer(Medical Devices)

Job Location - Mounds View, Minnesota (Fully Onsite)

Type: W2 contract

This position is for a senior level electrical engineer to be Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) group in a continuation/sustaining engineering role working on a Ventricular Assist Device system. The role will involve product improvement and remediation efforts and working with contract manufacturing sites. Examples of the work performed include verification of an embedded system in the lab, evaluation of proposed changes due to obsolescence issues and investigation of issues.

Technical skills that are required for the role:

Familiarity with product development processes in a regulated industry

Understanding of combined hardware and software system architecture

Expertise in use of common lab equipment

Education Required:

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or another Engineering with a strong focus in electronics

Years’ Experience Required:

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.

Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
