About the Role:
They are looking for an Immigration Attorney with at least 2 years of experience in immigration law. Extensive knowledge of immigration law is essential, and experience with family removal cases is a major plus.
Responsibilities:
- Handle various immigration cases, focusing on family immigration, removal defense, and other facets of immigration.
- Provide legal advice and representation in different immigration matters.
- Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents.
- Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations.
- Represent clients in immigration court and USCIS interviews.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather information.
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to manage cases efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the NY State Bar.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in immigration law.
- Extensive knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Experience with family removal cases (preferred).
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high caseload in a fast-paced environment.
