This is a newly created role as a result of the Company’s strategic plan to elevate operations and marketing presence.

Marketing Specialist Your Job Duties

You will be the driver of the Company’s strategic marketing plan, spearheading the internal marketing committee and providing input, ideas and ensuring the effective execution of marketing activities in support of increased brand awareness and customer engagement.

You will :

• Create marketing content including SEO optimized Google and social media ads, write content, create marketing collateral
• Proof read all content and marketing materials to ensure compliance with Federal crop insurance regulations and requirements
• Develop graphics, visuals, presentation slides, proposal templates, brochures and public content
• Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure that the team has the marketing collateral tools to meet their needs, as well as to brainstorm potential new marketing campaigns
• Plan and execute all digital marketing, including search engine optimization (SEO) / search engine marketing (SEM) with focus on Google ads
• Oversee website content, collaborating with website third-party vendor
• Own company branded material, client gifts and swag including identifying new ideas for promotional materials and monitoring inventory
• Create, monitor and maintain marketing dashboard of KPIs and measure marketing ROI
• Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
• Research and obtain benchmark data on competitor activities

A successful Marketing Specialist collaborates with the Sales team and management to bring solutions that meet their needs, consistently generates creative and effective marketing content that targets our customer demographic.

Marketing Specialist - Required Skills, Experience & Culture Fit

• Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) marketing and Google ads
• Social media marketing experience (Facebook / Meta)
• You are creative, forward thinking and adaptable you are joining a rapid growth business that will evolve and change as we continue to grow
• Ability to create and manage a content calendar and produce high quality content including graphics, video and written content
• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Suite-Illustrator and Photo Shop
• Ability to work in office in Woodland, California (hybrid schedule)

Marketing Specialist You Might Have (Desired, Not Required)

• Experience with Word Press or other website builder platforms (DIVI Builder)
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related
• Background in agriculture, crop, farming or marketing to agriculture clientele

Compensation $80,000, flexible, salaried plus annual incentive compensation.
