Associate Director of Accounting

Compensation Package to $200k

Supervise the General Accounting team.

Handle the monthly book close and preparation of reports in support of the financial statements. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Finance of the company.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, taxation, internal and external audits.

Safeguarding full accuracy of the financial ledgers on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, with full ownership and the lead on the monthly book close process

Oversee Medicaid and Govt pricing.

Lead for all internal and external audit requirements, to ensure that all schedules and documentation and supporting are prepared and shared with the auditors on a timely basis

Review the terms and conditions of agreements with customers and suppliers. Impact analysis of any changes in terms.

Analyze expenses against budgets and the contractual terms.

Preparation of annual budgets, quarterly estimates, ongoing review and tracking of the actual results (revenue, expenses) versus the corresponding budgets

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business or a related field is required

CPA will be a major plus

6-8 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a comparative role

Experience with Legal agreements

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP

Very strong accounting knowledge and skills.

Proven track record in financial accounting and controllership functions for at least 2-3 years. Previous experience in the pharma industry (especially generic pharma) will be a major plus.

Take on full ownership of responsibilities to ensure proper compliance with corporate schedules

Proven Ability to work independently, as well as working with the finance team in the parent company as part of the overall accounting consolidation.

Hands-on experience in GL and the sub-ledger in SAP accounting systems
