C/C Embedded Software Engineer

Our client is looking for a Software Engineer to join their team!

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a software engineer for the High-Performance Computing Group, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team developing and supporting mission applications.

• Embedded or systems development and fielding, sustainment and lifecycle support
• Strong and diverse working knowledge of software languages, hardware and industry best practices
• Advanced mathematics / physics; a track record of excellent team dynamics, development, and relevant technical contributions

• Experience digging into hardware specifications and leveraging hardware interfaces in the composition of low-level software solutions.
• Energized by the diverse software and computer engineering problem sets of HPC.

• Knowledge of general programming principles and optimization strategies, with previous experience in Assembly, C/C , Python, Rust, Embedded Linux or others.
• Development and testing skills in High Performance Computing applications or advanced computing / embedded systems.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.

Education Requirements:

Requires a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of job-related experience, or a master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire . Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
