Our client is looking for aShipping Clerk to join their team!

Job Description :

Under minimal supervision perform all tasks associatedwith shipping product to customers including but not limited to : Examining verifying accuracy processing shipping documentsmanifests invoices bills of lading.

Processing shipments on UPSWorld Ship and FedEx Ship Manager manifest systems as well as othercarriers. Confer and correspond with customer shippingnotifications systems and export brokers as required.

Process viaAES applicable export shipments.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Scanspacking slip to ensure switches cleared Get Ready scanningprocess.
• Weighsand addresses parcels crates of merchandise ormaterial.
• Preparesindividual labels and individually packages items according to workinstructions and then containerizes by customer / orderrequirements.
• Keepsrecords of goodsshipped.
• Mayselect route or carrier when not specified bycustomer.
• Fills outreports on shipment shortages and damagedmaterials.
• Verifiescompliance to export regulations andprocesses.
• Actualmovement of goods into and out of the shipping area is alsorequired.
• Maintainsan adequate supply of packaging supplies and freight bills forproducts to beshipped.
• Keepsquality up to acceptable standards with little discrepantwork.
• Performstasks equal to or exceeding establishedstandards.
• Accomplishesproduction quotas; working consistently working overtime andtraveling asrequired.

Experience :
