Job Type: Contract, 4-8 weeks, potential extension of project assignment

Job Summary:

GTS is seeking Facility Technicians at our Houston location. As a Facility Technician, you will be responsible for executing the daily operations of the GTS Integration Facility’s production line under the direct direction of facility management.

Duties:

· Assist in the provisioning of new IT assets on behalf of our customers. Including, but not limited to:

o Unboxing equipment

o Asset tag application

o Cable management

o Provisioning and imaging of Chrome and Windows devices

o Hardware kitting

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Keeps work areas and equipment clean and organized.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· None.

Requirements:

· First-rate analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Basic working knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware and software.

· Basic Experience in Microsoft word and Excel.

· Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technology to non-technical people.

· Ability to perform physical work, such as lifting computers or equipment, and, if necessary, shift them to other locations.

· Ability to perform technology configuration services and deployment services as needed.

· Excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask and work independently.

· Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks

· Strong attention to detail and safety protocols

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods standing and working on equipment on a production line.

· Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the facility workspace.

· Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

· Must be able to use a ladder
