Job Description
The Construction Project Lead directly oversees miscellaneous construction and signage projects within the different chains. Aids in project schedules and assigning General Contractors and/or Sign Vendors.
The Junior Construction Project Lead will distribute all required project documents to external and internal contacts.
Negotiates pricing, reviews and approves proposals and invoices, tracks progress, and ensures close-outs for all miscellaneous construction and signage initiatives assigned.
Supplies Field Organization and Management updates detailing the status of all miscellaneous construction and signage initiatives on a regular basis.
(Must Haves) Key Strengths:
Strong organization and project planning skills are necessary.
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) are a must.
Adept in Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Word. Lucernex and Service Channel experience are a plus.
Must be able to manage multiple projects at any one time.
Highly self-motivated, and works well in a team environment.
Good to Have:
0-3 years in Construction, Facilities, Store Planning, Fixturing, Architectural Design, or related construction trades is preferred.
Understanding and ability to read blueprints, specifically Floor Plans, Elevations, and Site Plans.
Strong knowledge of store layouts, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing criteria would be desired.
Experience working on complex projects is good to have.
Retail experience is preferred.
General fixturing and retail store planning knowledge is a plus.
Ability to decipher landlord and city codes as it relates to exterior signs.
