Position Overview Our front end is the last place our customers visit, their final point of contact during their shopping trip. It's where we have an opportunity to leave a lasting impression by providing friendly and courteous service as they complete their orders. Job Description Description Provide friendly and attentive customer service as you oversee the day to day operations of the front end and supervise front end associates/cashiers Cultivate and maintain excellent customer relations and service levels, and ensure a friendly, professional, and well-organized image for the front end, vestibule, and parking lot Assist Customer Service Manager with selection, training, development, and scheduling of cashiers/front end associates Ensure proper product handling and that all legal/regulatory aspects of the front end are followed (i.e. alcohol/tobacco sales, WIC, food stamps) Travel Required:No Environment Store : Office Temperature (65F to 75F) Skills Specialized Knowledge : Basic computer skills Special Skills : Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions Physical abilities: : Other: : Excellent communication skills and organization/prioritization skills, basic computer skills and/or the ability to learn how to operate a cash register, scanner, telephone system, and scale, and the ability to handle money and other forms of payment are also important.
