Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the Admissions Coordinator role is to screen all referrals and complete intake for new admissions,manage resident care from preadmission to discharge, completes preliminary andadmission paperwork, confirm/authorize insurance benefits and update insurancethrough end of skilled stay including denial forms, completes admissionassessments and transcribed admission orders, MDS experience preferred, orwilling to learn MDS operations for back up.
