Job Description: As an IT Support Specialist at Guardian Bikes, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing excellent technical support to our internal team members. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, as well as assisting with the setup and configuration of computer systems and peripherals.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide first-level technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and in-person, and escalate issues to a higher support level as needed.

2. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.

3. Source, install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.

4. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.

5. Assist with IT inventory management, including tracking equipment and software licenses.

6. Collaborate with IT team members to implement system/process upgrades and improvements.

7. Document technical procedures and solutions for knowledge sharing and training.

8. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices in IT support.

9. Ensure compliant data security and backup processes are followed.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a helpdesk or technical support role.

3. Related certifications such as CompTIA A or CompTIA Network (preferred).

4. 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).

5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

6. Strong knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems.

7. Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.

8. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

9. Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional service.

10. Ability to collaborate and coordinate with MSP IT partner(s).

11. Experience with ITIL framework and helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Asana, Jira) is a plus.
