TheBusiness Development Specialist will develop relationships withcustomers and the Guardian team. The work includes travel andfluctuating hours.

JOBDUTIES

The Business DevelopmentSpecialist will report directly to the Director of BusinessDevelopment. Below is a list of the tasks, responsibilities, andexpectations that Business Development Specialist will beresponsible for on a daily and weekly basis.

Tasks

• Develop, implement,and control marketing / public relation campaigns and events
• Create and develop marketing literature,touch-points, and corporate information for given market areas
• Build and sustain productive and profitablerelationships with key decision makers, medical professionals, andcommunity leaders through a variety of mediums including;

personalvisits, presentations, written communications, corporateliterature, promotional events, etc.

• Prepareand deliver organization presentations to large and small bodies ofmedical professionals and civic leaders
• Seekout new opportunities for growth and development
• Assist the business development team or takelead in the conceptual design and layout of brochures, informationguides, website, calendars, newsletters, social media and otherpromotional and PR items
• Actively participatein strategic planning and weekly Business Development Meetings withBusiness Development Team to determine direction, needs,opportunities, and action
• Evaluatestatistical trends and take actions accordingly
• Implement and control competitiveintelligence efforts
• Ethical to grow flightvolume and market share
• Participate incompany QA / QI activities
• Other duties asassigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

• Theideal candidate will be currently living and residing in theAnchorage, AK area
• Previousexperience in business development / marketing / sales or other relatedfields.
• Proficient computer skills andin-depth knowledge of relevant software applications.

PreferredQualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or publicrelations.
• Experience in the medical / aviationindustry.
