Guardian Life is Hiring a Lead Exstream Developer Near Pittsfield, MA

Position Overview:
As an Exstream Development Team Lead, you will lead a small team of remote Exstream developers to support the transformation of correspondence for the Group Absence products. This involves working with business leaders and colleagues to advance the modernization of Group correspondence. You will collaborate with the core Exstream development team on platform strategy while using your innovative engineering skills and technical expertise to execute the Group Absence vision to support enterprise growth and align with Guardian’s consumer centric digital strategy.
You Will:
  • Perform development activities to construct documents in Exstream Cloud per agreed upon requirements.
  • Lead team of Exstream Developer resources for business need deliverables and application support.
  • Resolving conflicting requests and meeting changing requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
  • Conduct research and analysis; make recommendations.
  • Mentor/trainer and provide guidance and assistance to team members.
  • Develop and maintain solution documentation.
  • Applying innovative approaches to solve technical design issues.
You Have (Required Skills):
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in OT Exstream & Exstream CN and strong understanding of other CCM solutions.
  • Design solution for OT Command Center, Content Author, OTDS, TeamSite, LiveSite and Empower.
  • 3 years of experience in Java/java script.
  • Must have experience working with XML, CSV, JSON data files.
  • Experience handling Section data, data mapping.
  • Must have good hands-on experience on template development, gathering requirements for business, applying logic and writing rules and formulas.
  • Experience with AFP, PDF, XML, PS.
  • Basic understanding of Operating System (AWS, Linux, HP Unix/ IBM AIX, Windows).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 3 years’ Experience in ITIL framework and processes – incident, problem and change management.
  • Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
You Have (Desired Skills):
  • Configure, Maintain and Support CMOD reports processing.
  • Experience troubleshooting CMOD issues related to indexing, ingestion, retrieval etc.
  • Other scripting or programming language experience (Awk, Shell, Python).
  • Experience in AWS cloud services EC2, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL.
  • Experience working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors.
  • Mainframe experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in Insurance, familiar with terminology, concepts and business processes and systems.
Location:
  • Two days a week at a Guardian office in Pittsfield, MA
Salary Range$95,060.00 - $156,170.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
