Guardian Life is Hiring a Middleware Administrator – Websphere MQ Near Bethlehem, PA

This position must report to our office in Holmdel, NJ, New York, NY or Bethlehem, PA. You have
10 years of experience
At least 3 years of experience in administering IBM MQ (formerly WebSphere MQ) on Linux and Windows platforms
Experience in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Perl
Experience in using monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics
Working knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS and exposure to Dev/Ops
Exposure and working knowledge of AWS managed services like REDIS, SNS/SQS
Knowledge of WebSphere Network deployment on Linux, AIX, Windows
An aptitude for Tomcat, Jboss and IIS
The ability to accelerate impact, lead change and work under minimal supervision
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements
You will
Lead the implementation, Support of IBM MQ implemented on distributed platform
Provide on-call support on rotation basis
Contribute to AWS cloud migration projects
Work with on-site and offshore teams
Provide hands-on technical solutions to business challenges & translates them into process/technical solutions
Develop advanced technological ideas and guides development into a final product
Design, development, and delivery of MQ implementations
Learn and work on REDIS, SNS, SQS Messaging platform
Middleware technologies scope of patching/upgrade work including WebSphere application server, JBoss EAP and Tomcat, Apigee, WebSphere
Work with development teams to create/Configure new middleware instances required by the project, including web Servers, Application Servers

Holmdel, NJ, New York (Hudson Yards) or Bethlehem, PA with work from home flexibility.
Salary Range$82,660.00 - $135,805.00 The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
