GUARDIAN OPERATIONS LLC is Hiring a Human Resources Generalist Near Auburn, WA

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Guardian’s rapid expansion requires top tier talent and is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our growth. The HR Generalist will work alongside our leadership team to ensure all routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department are in order, while also updating processes to become more efficient. We are seeking a proactive This is a full-time position based in Auburn, WA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Dotted line assistance with workers compensation claims, including timely reporting to and from LNI, Attending Physicians, employees, and third-party groups.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual in Spanish highly desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field OR 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • 3 years of experience in a similar Human Resources role
  • Expertise in HR policies and procedures
  • Understanding of HR best practices as well as local, state and federal regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
