Guggenheim is seeking a mid-level Operations Analyst to join its Operations Administration Department. This person will join a highly collaborative and cross-trained team responsible for critical support functions. The chosen candidate will provide operations support services and tactical system solutions to the team.
The role presents an opportunity to help Guggenheim Securities provide best in class support while also helping the business execute and grow to the next level. The position is currently remote but based in New York.
Essential Job Functions
- Report to the Director of the Operations Administration Department
- Develop a strong understanding of trade settlement flow, syndicate/new issue processes, and platforms reconciliations.
- Works closely with the Trading and Sales desks, Finance & Risk Department, in-house Counsel, Business Analysts, and other infrastructure groups.
- Collaborate to create/enhance processes for streamlining of new strategies/initiatives.
- Precisely execute wire instructions.
- Accurate and timely preparation of various documentation as required.
- Maintains compliance with all Department and Firmwide policies and procedures.
- Other support functions as directed by manager.
- Natural self-starter with an aptitude for multitasking and outside-the-box thinking.
- Possess an ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in both Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
- Fluency in Visual Basic.
- Experience utilizing the Bloomberg terminal is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Will ultimately need to become licensed for the Series 99
- College degree required, preferably in Finance, Business, Technology, or related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Annual base salary between $70,000 and $90,000.
- The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
