- Oversee all day to day accounting operations for managed properties and work closely with CFO to develop, implement and maintain accounting controls, policies and practices
- Reconcile and review reconciled bank accounts and financial statements, prepare and review journal entries and assist with budgets
- Maintain the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections
- Conduct cash flow forecasting and calculate cash flow distributions of the properties
- Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding financial matters, ensuring clear and timely communication
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a positive work environment and professional development Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5 years accounting experience in property management
- Proven working experience as a manager
- Excellent client and internal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge and fluency in Microsoft Office
