Guidepoint is Hiring a Business Development Associate, Client Growth Near Phoenix, AZ
Overview:Guidepoint’s Business Development teams are passionate about expanding our reach with both new and existing clients. We support all Guidepoint’s service offerings, helping to build relationships and communicate how Guidepoint helps clients stay informed and make better business decisions. Our teams are motivated to provide custom offerings designed to help every potential client make the most of their partnership with Guidepoint. The Business Development team is looking for an entry-level Business Development Associate to further develop our business with major corporate institutions, F500 Corporations, Startups, etc. within the region. The Associate will be responsible for assisting in building a pipeline of prospects across a variety of industries. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who wants to learn more about our corporate client base and make a significant contribution to our business model. What You’ll Do:
Partner with a Senior Vice President of US Institutional sales team to increase user base at corporate firms and new business units
Analyze monthly client usage reports utilizing Microsoft Excel and Guidepoint’s internal CRM platform
Conduct cold calls, emails and other lead generation efforts to meet designated project, new client activation, and meeting targets
Meet designated prospecting and meeting targets through cold calling and other lead generation efforts.
Assist in the development of marketing materials and client presentations.
Develop a working knowledge of the primary research methods, the competitor landscape, and corporate industry strategies.
What You Have:
1 years of experience in a sales, business development, or corporate orientated relevant role
Bachelor's degree from a four-year university.
Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management
Excellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere.
A desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Desire to work in a sales role that is KPI and metrics-driven.
Strong relationship management skills with stakeholders of varying seniority levels.
What We Offer:The annual base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000. Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance. You will also be eligible for the following benefits:
