Guido's Fresh Marketplace is Hiring a Grocery Stocker Near Great Barrington, MA

GREAT BARRINGTON LOCATION ONLY

Guido’s is looking to hire a stocker to join our grocery team in Great Barrington. A stocker’s job is dynamic, and a day might include building displays, stocking shelves, tracking sales, packing bulk products, and providing customer service in the aisles. Our stockers both maintain the beauty of the shelves and provide what is often the first point of customer contact in the stores, and flexibility, focus, and good communication skills are key to success in the role.

Shift Hours: 11am-7:30pm. This position can be full-time or part-time. Weekend availability is a must.

Stocking Duties and Responsibilities

  • Helps to create positive customer experience in the aisles.
  • Ensures a fresh and appealing display by checking codes, rotating products, and removing out-of-date products according to stocker protocol.
  • Verifies correct department signage and pricing.
  • Ensures that all shelves and displays are properly stocked and front-facing.
  • Maintains and organizes back stock.
  • Supports bulk department by filling bins, packaging products, or making nut butters according to protocol.
  • Keeps the department clean, sweeps floors, and maintains sweep logs.
  • Logs customers’ special orders. Retrieves special orders for customers by request and offers service out to car.
  • Follows and complies with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adheres to safe work practices.
  • Answers department telephone calls and pages quickly and with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Prioritizes department needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor

Pay Range: Up to $18.00/hr, commensurate with experience
