Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at a marina located in the heart of Nokomis @ Gulf Harbor. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft programs, Excel, and Quickbooks. In addition to providing administrative support, the Office Assistant will be responsible for managing the front office, greeting potential owners/tenants, and giving tours. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Greet visitors/tenants/owners, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a professional and courteous manner
- Manage the front office, including collecting information/data, documents, vendor info.
- Provide administrative support to the office administrator, including filing and data entry
- Utilize computer programs for invoicing and billing
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer service at the marina
- Develop a working knowledge of current and new office systems and assist with various administrative tasks
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment

Experience:

- Previous experience in a marina office setting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft computer programs, ADP payroll, and QuickBooks
- Experience with front office responsibilities, including vendor check-in
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Computer skills a must (will teach quick learners or refresh skills)

- High school diploma or equivalent required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Required)
  • Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer skills: 1 year (Required)
