Gulf Stream Marine is Hiring a Contract Recruiter - Temporary Near Houston, TX

Resumen:

This is for a full-time, 3 to 6 month contractor position. As a Contract Recruiter, your primary objective is to support our organization in sourcing, recruiting, and selecting qualified candidates for our Gulf Stream Marine labor positions. You will be responsible for collaborating with hiring managers, understanding their staffing needs, and executing recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Your expertise in candidate sourcing, assessment, and relationship management will be pivotal in ensuring the successful fulfillment of our staffing requirements. The contract recruiter position is onsite, no remote work. Must be flexible to attend off site job fairs, at different hours or weekends.

WHAT YOULL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, staffing, or HR-related roles, focusing on high-volume staffing.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Proficiency in ICIMS applicant tracking systems (ATS) or other recruitment software.
  • Familiarity with employment laws, regulations, and compliance standards related to contract staffing.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • High professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.

WHAT IS THE WORKING CONDITION:

  • Primarily office-based role with occasional standing and walking.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of up to 10 pounds may be required.
  • Moderate exposure to inclement weather/elements and quiet to moderate noise level in the office.
  • Local and non-local travel may be required less than 10% of the time.
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Responsabilidades:
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, professional networks, social media platforms, and referrals, to identify and attract candidates for contract positions.
  • Candidate Screening and Evaluation: Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit for contract assignments. Evaluate candidates' qualifications against job requirements and client expectations.
  • Client Collaboration: Partner closely with hiring managers and client stakeholders to understand contract staffing needs, job specifications, and project requirements. Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and adjust strategies to meet client expectations.
  • Job Posting and Advertising: Write compelling job descriptions tailored to contract positions and post advertisements on relevant platforms. Ensure job postings accurately reflect client requirements and attract suitable candidates.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with contract candidates throughout recruitment. Keep candidates informed about job opportunities, provide feedback, and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews, assessments, and other recruitment activities with hiring managers and client representatives. Ensure a smooth and efficient interview process for both candidates and clients.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of candidate information, interview notes, and recruitment activities in compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies. Ensure adherence to legal requirements and industry standards throughout the recruitment process.

Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance and satisfaction of contract employees placed on assignments. Gather feedback from clients and candidates to identify areas for improvement and ensure ongoing satisfaction with contract staffing services.
