Marketing Director
Job Summary:
The Marketing Director will oversee, coordinate, and participate in the development of marketing strategies, collateral and events for Gulfshore Life Media (Gulfshore Life, Gulfshore Business, HOME, Gordon Drive, MINI, The Naples Press).
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversees the daily workflow of the marketing department.
Works hand in hand with Digital Marketing Manager on e-newsletters, e-blasts and online ad coordination.
Directs and implements the organization’s advertising and promotional activities.
Works with our charity partners to establish and activate media sponsorships.
Identifies new market segments that will benefit from company products.
Works directly with sales/advertising department on sponsorship opportunities.
Prepares effective sponsorship opportunities and activations for our advertisers.
Maintains seasonal event calendar for both in house events and media partner events.
Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for our magazines, newspaper and websites.
Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the department’s operating budget.
Willingness/ability to work evenings and weekends at times for events (especially during “season”).
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong leadership skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Valid Driver’s License
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
At least five years of experience in marketing and long-range planning required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
