Job Title: Senior Plumbing Estimator
Overview: This position is suited for an experienced individual specializing in commercial plumbing estimation within the commercial mechanical construction industry. The role involves analyzing and preparing comprehensive cost estimates for plumbing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed cost estimates for commercial plumbing projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Review project plans and specifications to accurately assess cost implications.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for price quotations.
- Provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs.
- Maintain cost databases for plumbing materials and labor.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience (7 years) in commercial plumbing estimation.
- Proficiency in relevant estimation software.
- Local and stable work history.
Preferred:
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver accurate estimates under tight deadlines.
