Job Summary:

Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Plumbing/HVAC Preconstruction Engineer. We're looking for a creative, diligent engineer with a passion for preconstruction phases and a talent for collaboration. Your role involves working closely with sales, design teams, and clients, focusing on plumbing and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop project estimates and proposals in collaboration with sales and design teams.
• Conduct engineering calculations and design layouts for plumbing and HVAC systems, following industry standards.
• Assess project feasibility and offer cost-effective solutions.
• Provide technical support during sales and preconstruction phases.
• Review mechanical plans and specifications for quality and compliance.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors, managing project communication.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulations.
• Enhance preconstruction processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• EIT or PE license preferred.
• 2 years in commercial plumbing and HVAC design/engineering.
• Experience with large, complex projects.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP and similar software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Team player, capable of independent work.
• Based in or near Orange County, CA.
