Project Manager – Commercial Mechanical Construction

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead and oversee mechanical construction projects within the dynamic sectors of data centers, labs, hospitals, and high-rise buildings. This role demands a professional with a robust history in the Phoenix area and at least five years of in-depth experience in commercial HVAC plumbing and piping. The successful candidate will exhibit advanced competencies in industry-standard technical tools and a proven track record managing sizable projects that meet and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Leadership: Manage all aspects of mechanical construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.
* Technical Oversight: Oversee the application of HVAC systems, ensuring all installations comply with industry standards and project specifications.
* Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure clarity and progress towards project milestones.
* Compliance and Safety: Maintain rigorous adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance across all projects.
* Tool Proficiency: Utilize construction management software and tools such as Bluebeam, MS Project, Primavera, Procore, and Viewpoint to enhance project efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
* Professional Experience: Minimum of five years in project management, specifically in commercial HVAC, plumbing, and piping. Experience in data centers, labs, hospitals, and high-rises preferred.
* Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Bluebeam, MS Project, Primavera, Procore, and Viewpoint.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is advantageous.
* Local Expertise: Strong preference for candidates with a stable work history in the Phoenix area and familiarity with local codes and regulations.
