About the Position and Responsibilities:We are currently seeking a self-starting individual to join our team as an Education and Library Sales Consultant for the Akron and Cleveland area. Primary focus will be supporting Ohio’s new Science of Reading Initiative. As part of our team, you will develop and maintain new customers by scheduling and visiting in-person or virtually with them to show and sell our literacy resources. About the Position and Responsibilities:We are currently seeking a self-starting individual to join our team as an Education and Library Sales Consultant for the Akron and Cleveland area. Primary focus will be supporting Ohio’s new Science of Reading Initiative. As part of our team, you will develop and maintain new customers by scheduling and visiting in-person or virtually with them to show and sell our literacy resources. The position and responsibilities also include:
- Work with the Regional Sales Manager to implement effective sales strategies to drive sales within the assigned territory
- Identify prospects, set appointments and make effective qualifying sales calls to expand new business
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers within the assigned sales territory
- Some travel within your territory to meet with and sell to customers (if in-person is requested).
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our products and services to effectively present to customers
- Attend local and/or state trade shows
- Outgoing individual with strong speaking and active listening skills
- Self-motivated and driven
- Able to prospect and cold call effectively
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel)
- Reliable transportation
- High Commission Rate Paid Weekly
