  • Provide leadership and supervision to the behavioral health services and staff
  • Monitor compliance with all policy and accreditation agencies, take corrective actions when needed
  • Maintain a small behavioral health client caseload

The Gun Lake Tribe seeks a Behavioral Health Manager to oversee and lead the Behavioral Health Services Outpatient Program in our Health and Human Services Department. This position is ideal for a licensed (LMFT, LP, LPC, or LMSW) mental/behavioral health professional who wants to use their supervisory and counseling experience to mold a new behavioral/mental health department and ensure our community members receive high-quality outpatient behavioral health services.

Our Behavioral Health Manager:

  • Experience : 1 years of supervisory experience in the behavioral health/mental health field. Previous experience providing mental and behavioral health counseling services
  • Education : A Masters Degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a PhD in Psychology is required
  • Licensed : A valid LMSW, LPC, LP, or LMFT in Michigan is required
  • Leadership : Able to set clear goals and expectations, require accountability, and empower team members to succeed in their position
  • Forward Thinking: Always looking ahead, creative, and open-minded with a vision for shaping and improving services and the overall patient experience
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • People-Oriented: Someone with excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills who can build strong relationships and provide support for their team
  • Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new software

What we offer our Behavioral Health Manager:

  • $70,000 - $85,000 per year depending on experience
